Almost all apartments communities utilize apartment-locating services such as RentSmart Apartment Locating to assist them with promoting their properties and filling vacancies. As a licensed apartment locator, RentSmart Apartment Locating is paid a commission by apartment management companies when you list our name on your rental application. These commissions are paid out of the marketing budget for the property and do not affect the price you pay for your apartment. After you report your lease, we ask the apartment community to confirm that you listed RentSmart Apartment Locating on your rental application and/or lease agreement. After you move in, we invoice the apartment complex for the advertised commission.
